After Sunday’s 2-0 win over Denham United Ladies, Captain Jade Keogh spoke to the press. Keogh gave her opinions on the teams performance in the windy conditions.

Keogh on… The Conditions: “First half we were going towards the wind, as we drove towards their goal we were literally being held back, which didn’t help. Denham had the same problems though, but luckily we were able to get the win in the end.”

Keogh on… The Team Performance: “The conditions were hard, the first half we didn’t get a goal straight away, we may be panicked a little but we turned in a professional performance in the end. We did what we needed to do and got the three points in the end.”

Keogh on… Next match vs Enfield Town LFC: “Last season we went to Enfield and only drew 1-1, it was a pivotal part of the season, we put in a good performance but couldn’t get the goals. We know it won’t be an easy game, it will be a battle. As long as we turn up and play how we can play, we will be fine.”
