Gillingham did have a chance to get on level terms as Charlotte Long beat the offside trap and played through Pilbeam on goal but she tried to lob the goalkeeper Baker and she easily gathered the ball.

Ashleigh Loosemore then got through on the goal and tried to hit a cross to Pilbeam who was unmarked inside the penalty box but Baker again got the ball and denied Pilbeam the chance for Gillingham to level the game.

Gillingham then won a free kick in the middle of the pitch, Long drilled the ball into the box and Loosemore got at the end of it and drilled a low shot towards goal but Baker easily gathered the ball up.

Kayleigh Galvin then broke though on goal after seeing a good over the top though ball and she raced away from her defender to get one on one with Baker. She went wide to her right and tried to get up Pilbeam in the penalty box but she got too much on her pass and the ball went \way from Pilbeam and the ball was cleared away.

Gillingham then had a great chance to get on level terms as a free kick was drilled deep into the penalty area, the ball fell to Loosemore who had a shot which was well blocked but the rebound went straight to Kiera Daulby who hit a low shot from the edge of the six yard area and Baker did well to save low to left and deflect the ball out for a corner.
