Five star Gills unbeaten run continues against Tottenham Hotspur

Gillingham Ladies romped to a 5-1 victory against Spurs on Sunday afternoon at Chatham Town.

After a slow start, Gills began to orchestrate the tempo of play and were rewarded as Amy Taylor smashed a right footed volley into the back of the net.

Minutes later, the Gills surrendered their lead as a Spurs attacker was found unmarked six yards out to put the ball beyond Gills keeper Faye Baker.

Emma Tune put Gills in front with a smart turn and finish in the area. The Gills went in at half time with a 2-1 win.

Gillingham enjoyed a much better second half performance, spending long periods of the remaining 45 minutes attacking the Spurs half.
